This lesson was about how to make a magic texture from another texture. I used kk_coolgrunge and inverted it, and added a gradient map to make the dark shades black. Kim provided us with an image and we could then add our own touches. I layered my magic texture on top of the photo and used the blend mode "screen" This gave a kind of chalky texture to the photo and I used a layer mask to mask off a little of the texture from the cup.
Then I added some text and a little heart brush and a slight warming filter :)
