I love Spring ! I'm sure everyone does, it's so nice to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, hear the birds singing, and see all the new growth. I didn't have to go far to find something to photograph, just out into the back yard !
I do love clematis !
I edited the photo below with kk_organic, I like the dark, mysterious feel it gave to the image.
A handsome male American Goldfinch who very kindly stayed in one place for me !
Close up of an evergreen
A blackberry in the making
A nuthatch has moved into one of our nesting boxes, I think there may already be babies !
Another clematis shot
Wishing you all a beautiful week,
Caz
I wish you a good week also Caz, love the clematis also, oh that second image is just so awesome. Gorgeous images Caz
ReplyDeleteThanks Barb :)
DeleteSo refreshing to see these lovely spring signs...I love the finch in the tree, and the new evergreen growth. I saw my first golden finch last week when he jumped onto the water dish my husband had just put up and filled. The robins are busy in the back yard building a nest not far away - hopefully in a safe place from storms. I need to check my clematis for buds, yours are way ahead and so beautiful!! Have a wonderful week!!
ReplyDeleteThank Beverly :) The finch stayed and posed long enough for me to get a decent shot ! I only have one little clematis, growing in a pot, poor thing, so I make the most of the few blooms I get ;) Enjoy your week x
DeleteYour photo close-ups are amazing. Love the beautiful color of the first photo. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Peabea :)
DeleteHi Caz! We were on the same wavelength this week! :) It is wonderful to be outside taking pictures in the warmer weather. Your images are beautiful. I love the dark purple of the clematis and I can't believe the goldfinch sat still for you. I never have any luck with bird pictures. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle ! I think the goldfinch was waiting for me to go so he could get on the feeder !
DeleteThe clematis is gorgeous, but oh the goldfinch. You got a wonderful shot. They don't usually sit still very long.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marilyn :))
DeleteSpring has found you! How delightful. All of these are beautiful and that little goldfinch was indeed cooperative. Our clematis are just at the bud stage.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dotti !
DeleteSuch lovely bokeh you captured with your bird image. I love that close up of the clematis, I want too plant one so bad… Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Roxi !
DeleteLovely series of Spring. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Earl !
DeleteCaz, I truly enjoy pictures of your very own yard and neighborhood. I can picture you outside, soaking in the sunshine, discovering the views. My favorite is the birdhouse - with the hint of the little Mama bird - such lovely texture and warmth.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donna ! :)
