Texture Tuesday 6/10/14

My neighbor has the most beautiful hydrangea bushes and she allowed me to cut a few blooms.....so sweet of her.  I love hydrangeas, I love all flowers, but hydrangeas are just so special.



I edited this is Lightroom, adding Kim's preset Autumn Copper 2 and then took it into PSE and added a layer of Waterfront 28 , soft light at 80% opacity.  




This has several adjustments ( which I forgot to note..ooops ! ) in LR5, then the texture "the letter" was added at multiply at 49% and brushed off the flowers.

    I agree with everything Beverly said, love both of these one of my all time favorite flowers of the summer. They just last so long and go through so many great phases.

    How nice of your neighbor to let you cut some blooms! I LOVE hydrangeas but have none. :(

    I wish I had a neigbour like yours, Caz :) Both images are beautifully processed, I still have to get more at ease with Lightroom ;(

    Very nice. I love the first photo's composition. The vase looks like an old cream bottle. We used to have the milk and cream delivered to our house many years ago.
