Texture Tuesday 7/22/14

I've been in a bit of a funk the last few days, and I shouldn't be as I have a lot of new props to play with, including a vintage scale, an old camera, a few bottles and some ironstone pieces !( I'm obsessing over ironstone...help ! ) It's so true that all things come to those who wait.....I've been wanting a scale and an old camera for ages, and then found them both at the same time ! Today I just used an old bottle and a flower from my wedding bouquet which I came upon today....... I had a silk bouquet 13 and a half years ago :)

The rose photos have all been textured kk_dollardsoftandgentle at low opacity, multiply.

Then I played with some silver flatware, and added a few presets by Kim Klassen and Pretty Presets for a slightly different look.

Pop on over to Texture Tuesday to see some amazing photos by some lovely people !

  2. Gorgeous tones on all of these, and so pretty. I adore the flatware on the plate...how fun to find an old scale, they are so rare. When I found a camera I could decide if it was one I wanted, so I didn't get it. Ironstone is always just right, whether in photos or just using it. Love, love your work Caz! Have a wonderful week.

  3. I think we all get in that mood from time to time, and it is the pits. If it helps to know we all know but hang in there it will pass. I think you did the right thing you showed up. I also adore the silverware images. I have been looking for some tarnished silverware but maybe I should just pull out my highly polished silverware from my Mom and see if I can do something with it. See you have given me inspiration and if you hadn't shown up today I wouldn't have had that. Thank you for the lovely images today Caz.

  4. I particularly like the last shot Caz. I am trying to curtail my prop hunting as I have far too much but I would love to get another camera.
