Texture Tuesday 9/30/14
We went for a lovely walk in the park on Sunday, the weather was so beautiful. When we first got there I took a couple of photos before realizing that there wasn't an SD card in my camera ! Ooops, how many more times will I do that ! ? So my very patient hubby drove me back home to get it. Ok, try again.....lol. I ended up with about 40 photos, hubby was even finding things for me to photograph. I love that photography has opened our eyes to the world, even the smallest things bring us joy ! I brought home a few finds......

DeletePictures with simple elements of nature are some of my very favorites! Like little collections, each acorn or leaf or twig, adds to the overall story of the image. I am tickled to think of your sweet husband going back home to get your memory card for you - something my husband would do, too! Beautiful textures and colors in all of today's photos!

DeleteI'm glad you went back for your camera. You got some great photos from that walk in the park. Does your camera have a setting to allow you to tell the shutter not to release if there's no card? I have mine set up that way and it has saved me many times. I get this little message on my LCD screen and the shutter won't release. I feel like it's yelling at me, 'There's no card in the camera, dummy!'

ReplyDeleteThanks June ...I do have several cards, but that day I wanted to just take my camera,vno camera bag and travel light, and of course that's the day there isn't a card in the camera ! lol My hubby said we should keep a spare one in the car !
DeleteI love the simplicity of your pictures Caz... they are so warm and bright with gorgeous autumn colors... here in France leaves are still green, we don't realize we are in autumn! walnuts are still on the branches... you had a wonderful walk and hunt for autumn treasures in the park... simple finds ans simple joys...
